And, frankly, if I was back around that time, I'd be stocking up on collectible stuff from the era and trying to make as much money as I can to stick into a high-interest savings account and collect when I get back. |

1) Are you currently in a serious relationship?
Short answer: Yes. Long answer: It's Complicated.
2) What was your dream growing up?
Wanted to be a train driver, because trains were cool. I actually applied to BE one, but they ignored the application. I will apply again, when they're hiring.
3) What talent do you wish you had?
Good handwriting.
4) If I bought you a drink what would it be?
Pear cider, if it's alcoholic. Otherwise, coke. With ice.
5) Favorite vegetable?
I don't EAT vegetables. Bananas and oranges are fruit, potatoes are tubers.
6) What was the last book you read?
Operation Certain Death. An account of an SAS hostage rescue mission in Sierra Leone, with added essay on why mercenaries are a Good Thing.
7) What zodiac sign are you?
Aries. But I don't do astrology. I do astrpohysics.
8) Any Tattoos and/or Piercings? Explain where.
None. I kinda want to get inked, though. Maybe one or two small ones on my hip for people who're important to me.
9) Worst Habit?
It's a toss-up between getting angry too quickly, being blunt, playing chicken with traffic, and having a lead foot.
10) If you saw me walking down the street would you offer me a ride?
Sure, if I have space. I'd at least wave and shout if I was on the bike, though.
11) What is your favorite sport?
To watch? Rugby. To actually take part in, cross-country cycling. Extreme sports-wise, BMX street and karate, respectively.
12) Do you have a Negative or Optimistic attitude?
Both. I'm an optimist who's used to people being out to get me.
13) What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator with me?
Snuggles. Or elevator sex.
14) Worst thing to ever happen to you?
Probably my childhood. Any one thing, the bike accident that smashed a few teeth and shredded my cheek. Lasting painful effects, and an annoying gap in my facial hair because of the scarring.

A wierd fact? I apply the i-before-e-except-after-c rule universally.

About how I LOOK? Either a little more upper-body muscle, or my nose straightening.

No, actually.

Go shopping. Buy myself a laptop, a set of wi-fi gear, tickets to america in october, new clothes, and a bunch of games and music CDs. Then I'd take anything left over and buy a car, with the rest going towards getting it insured and stuff. Anything after that would be stuck in a savings account until I can figure out a way to make more.
27) What's your favorite place to hang at?
Parks. Sun, book. Otherwise, I tend to lurk at my local GW store because I'm really a wargame nerd deep down, despite all the chains and spikes.
28) Do you believe in ghosts?
Nope. I believe in ghost-like experiences, though, and that things can seem like ghosts that are just as fascinating.
29) Favorite thing to do in your spare time?
Cycle. Game. Talk with mouse.

I'm from the thames valley. I have a pretty fucking foul mouth.

Lolly has died.
That cat was the only constant thing in my life, pretty much. I grew up with him. And he has spent the last month or so getting worse, going through periods of not eating, and finally getting incontinent and letting his fur get matted due to not washing.
Still, 18 or 19 is a good age for a cat, and he was a very good cat. |

Saw this on someone's LJ, and saw something I could actually write about.
And, frankly, nobody's ever explained what 'true love' actually MEANS. I used to think I knew, but I was proved wrong in a rather painful manner. Some of you know the story behind that, some of you don't, but I'm not gonna go into it.
Love at first sight, however?
From what I figure, you need to actually KNOW someone to really love them. However, I HAVE met girls that I've instantly fallen for upon meeting them for the first time. And I've also fallen hard out of that the instant they open their mouths. So, I believe in infatuation and obsession at first sight, but love has to come with time. |

1. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
Among other things I don't want to repeat on LJ, got a decent job. Oh, and lost a good job as well.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I did! I got a job, and a girlfriend!
I will make more. These will be:
- Keep girlfriend.
- Get another job.
- Learn to drive. I am not going to be driven by someone as panicky and flighty as my sister again. It is not good for my nerves.
- Buy a car. My mother's Fiesta sucks.
- Get a new videocard.

Nope.

Getting a decent job, and FINALLY getting my life on track. Granted, it derailed itself again, but it'll be easier to fix next time.

See above. Letting my life derail itself because I managed to attatch myself to a failing company.

Yeah. Bruised a coupla ribs, skinned my hand, torn rotator cuff on my right shoulder. And it ain't healing like it used to, either.

Actual THING, my coat. Long and leather and awesome. Otherwise, tickets to America.

Kender's, for putting up with me.

Fucking INCOME TAX. Between that, and national insurance, I lost nearly £2000, dammit! I really do not agree with the government wasting my money like that!
